My First Blog.

Why am I writing a Blog?

I am writing to document my journey, share what I've learned, and maybe even help someone going through a similar path.

It has been a rough one and a half years since I completed school and there has been an internal pressure to find a job. In the first month I joined a German language course Niveau-B1 and managed to pass the exams. I started applying for internships in relation to my Diploma course where I majored in Automotive Engineering. It has not been easy as all of the applications in my country have not been responded to, even for a regret email saying I have not qualified. I felt a little bit assured when I applied to Tesla and BMW in Germany and they both replied with regret emails. I joined a local welding shop to learn a new skill- welding- which I found interesting. I wish to pursue this further.

Come the second, I started looking for any job and I managed to join a building and construction company, I started at the lowest level in the company, my activities involved a lot of donkey work and menial tasks. My thirst for great responsibility was not quenched and for two months I felt the need to leave. After I left, I networked with a man who did Interior designs, still in the building and construction industry, who took a chance on me and gave me a gig. The first days I was out of place, I had never done any interior design work, majorly, but I had a clue of what was going on. I asked for a painting job which was satisfying, both in the job and the result. I braved the heights, acrophobia victim here, tough it out and got the job done.

I am still looking for gigs and tasks, I am a man of many talents, which I feel is my drawback as guys like me tend to master some or none at all. Hang in there, you've got this and they haven, seen it yet. I invite you to comment your experiences See you on the next one.
